Juniper hairstreak Nestled in the Heart of the Old Red Cedar

In the old farm field grows an old red cedar, lightning struck, with a wild cherry growing out of the crack that has split it to it's core. High up in the cleft, at night, juniper hairstreaks find refuge. Come the day, if you step up on the chunk of bog iron placed amongst the roots, you might see juniper hairstreaks nestled in and well sheltered. Cecropia moths have found refuge here as well.
