Male Calico Pennant

Celithemis elisa (Hagen, 1861)
Frequent - found in fields and pond edges throughout the New Jersey Pinelands, females and tenerals are bright yellow.
Hanging suspended on nodding juncus militaris over a pond- one of my favorite subjects.
